The Situation in the Holy Land...

On Tuesday night the JBC hosted a presentation given by H.E. Ilan Ben-Dov, Israeli Ambassador to Singapore. The Ambassador showed what our brethren in Israel are living through, and an unbiased glimpse of the military actions taking place in Gaza. He then answered numerous questions from the audience.

L'Hitraot to some of our Israeli friends...

Sunday night we hosted a goodbye party for some of our Israeli friends that we visit in the malls on Fridays. They will be leaving this week, and we will miss them and all the fun we had together!

Snack N' Learn

    

 

One of our aspiring photographers was wandering the JBC and chanced upon the weekly Snack N' Learn class for our local boys. Every Thursday afternoon we get together for some learning, and then eat dinner in the restaurant next door. Topics covered are Mishnah, Gemara (Talmud), Jewish History and Ethics.
