Maccabi Basketball Club

Here we go Maccabi, here we go! What a season, watching the girls and boys week in and week out playing with passion, teamwork, and really giving it all. This past Sunday, ( Nov. 30, 09) was the award ceremony. Beautiful trophies were given out to Most Valuable Players and to ones who the coach thought deserved it. Great job and keep up the great work! Special thanks go out to all the Coaches, parents, fans, and of course the players for making this season, a season to remember so when next season come along every team will know Maccabi is here, and here to stay!

Annual Shesh Besh Tournament

As i walked into the room i could feel the tension, the heat of the occasion. Back and forth the dice was rolled, " double sixes" some shouted out; i knew i just entered the annual exciting tournament of Shesh Besh. The players had an blast while light refreshments were served. Special thanks to Robin for arranging the tournament and of course congrats to our defending champion, Victor on his victory this year! Lag Ba'omer @ Sentosa 2009!!

With over 300 people in attendance, this year's Lag Ba'Omer event is one for the record books. The entire community showed up to enjoy themselves at Bora Bora Beach Bar, which included many games on our reserved beachfront, culminating in a grand Medurah (bonfire) with dancing and singing well into the evening.
