This season's amazing performances by our very own Maccabi basketball team culminated in the ultimate finale; winning the championship!!! Every one of our players put in so much effort and we're very proud of them.... Mazal Tov!!!
With over 300 people in attendance, this year's Lag Ba'Omer event is one for the record books. The entire community showed up to enjoy themselves at Bora Bora Beach Bar, which included many games on our reserved beachfront, culminating in a grand Medurah (bonfire) with dancing and singing well into the evening. A few weeks ago a group of visitors came to the JBC for a tour and a presentation on Judaism. The group consisted of leaders of various religious groups across Singapore, and was part of a series organized by the Inter-Religious Confidence Circle, an organization initiated by the Prime Minister to foster interaction and understanding between the various religions......
